Handover Day

About This Project

The big day, 12th December 2015, had finally arrived.  We were picking up the caravan after picking up the Landcruiser just 3 days earlier.  Exactly 18 years earlier to the day, Yasmin and I had been preparing to go on our first date and this moment was producing almost as many butterflies.

We met Matt (the seller) at his mother’s house in Tamworth late in the afternoon after driving from the Gold Coast that morning.

While the handover day took nearly 3 hours, we were to find in weeks to come, it wasn’t half as much as what was needed and really no amount of time could properly prepare you for your first caravanning adventure.
